Flight Team Container

Commissioned by the Mankato Maverick flight team, this custom container was engineered for message drop competitions. The objective was to design a highly visible container capable of safely carrying a message when deployed from an aircraft to a ground target. To ensure maximum durability upon impact, the main body was 3D printed using flexible purple TPU. The design strictly adhered to rigorous competition constraints, requiring an easily removable lid, exact rectangular prism dimensions, and a total weight under 71 grams. The design was changed based on feedback from the flight team to make it more reliable for their needs.
