Chassis & Dynamics
Contracted a 1/8” powder coated aluminum frame, incorporating a bent front bumper. Optimized the center of mass by pairing a solid base plate with a lightweight, hexagonally patterned top panel.
Drivetrain & Power
4:1 belt reduction powered by a low-RPM drone motor and LiPo cells to deliver consistent torque with E-braking and FOC.
Steering Mechanism
Designed and integrated a vertically mounted servo system which uses a cam profile for steering.
Assembly
Attached PETG printed parts using brass heated inserts for strong mechanical fastening.
